Trained Counsellors

If your on the land program has an explicit healing focus, consider having clinical support (such as a counsellor or social worker) on site. Even programs that aren't explicitly devoted to healing may benefit from having a counsellor present or on-call during the program.

The Community Counselling Program is a free service that provides on-the-ground access to mental health services in all of the regions. Some counsellors are willing to participate in on the land programs.
